Collective WorshIP
Collective worship at All Saints is a special and sacred time that we celebrate together daily as a school community. It is a time to pause, reflect and focus on our school vision and values and is central to our life as a school.
Worship is planned each term with a focus on one of our school values. We encourage pupils to play an active role in acts of worship and they are often invited to lead prayers, share thoughts and read Bible verses.

At All Saints, our worship is Christian based, but it is inclusive of all. Whether children have a faith or not, each individual is respected and given opportunities to express themselves in a way that makes them feel comfortable.

Our daily collective worship is led either by a class teacher, a member of the Senior Leadership Team or our local minister Rev. Hugh Boorman. Collective Worship takes place in the school hall, in classrooms and occasionally outside. We follow the seasons of the Church year, festivals and other special days are observed such as Candlemas and Pentecost. Year groups 2 to 6 have the opportunity to have a time of worship at All Saints Church to celebrate special events such as Christingle and Palm Sunday.
Our school week concludes with our Moving Mountains worship. This is a time to celebrate children’s achievements both in and out of school which relate to our school vision ‘Together we aspire, believe, explore, achieve.’
