In Nursery we embed Phonics in all that we do, for example, playing with musical instruments, listening for environmental sounds outside and talking about initial sounds in words. We also have an adult focus Phonics activity each week. Theses are all games based on Phase 1 of the Letters and Sounds Programme. We also like to sing Phonics songs, especially Jolly Phonics.
